What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Manager position at System One?
System One is assisting a client in East Texas with a search for an HR Manager. This position will be the sole HR professional onsite, but also work with an HR Team that sits in other areas across the United States. This position will primarily be responsible for implementing policies and procedures, staffing, talent retention, benefits, and training initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Onsite recruiting, onboarding, compliance, training, and benefit leader
- Support workers compensation claims and conduct any necessary related investigations
- Maintain a level of confidentiality in regards to employee information, including but not limited to, compensation and benefit enrollment
- Completion of all necessary forms, support documentation, memos, reports, or other communications in regards to new employees, policies and procedures, compliance, and training
- Work effectively with various departments across the organization
- Support employees by being first point of contact in regards to wellness, work place concerns, and safety programs
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required in related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in similar position
- Benefit, compensation, recruiting, and onboarding experience required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to get along with all levels of employees
- Superb writing skills and ability to write memos and complete necessary documentation
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to higher ups and staff
- Attention to detail and organization skills
