Job Description
This position will have responsibility for designing and developing the front end of TAL’s digital assets today and in the future. You will work alongside multiple development teams to deliver robust digital solutions. You will also be required to work with TAL’s UX design teams.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Architecting the front-end solution for a variety of projects including CMS implementations, HTML template development and tools.
- Acting as the conduit between business, technology and creative
- Delivering solutions to complex problems and produce high quality code
- Collaborating with development and design teams
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Hands on development experience specialising in Front End
- Advanced knowledge and literacy in HTML and CSS/SASS
- In depth knowledge of C# and JavaScript (ES5, ES6 and jQuery)
- In-depth knowledge of ASP.NET, AngularJS (1.6 ), React, npm and component-based architecture
- Experience developing robust Restful APIs using .NET Core
- Ability to create and maintain stored procedures in SQL Server and other databases
- Experience with Responsive design and Cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with web content management systems (i.e. Sitecore)
- Experience working with CI/CD toolsets including TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, & Azure Devops
- Experience working with Cloud platforms particularly Azure
- Working experience with a JavaScript mv* framework, like Angular JS
- Working experience with the Bootstrap framework
- Working experience with frontend project environment setup and configuration (Webpack/Rollup, Gulp/Grunt)
- History of Test-driven development Skills
