Rehab Aide

About the Job: The rehabilitation services aide serves as an aide to the physical therapists and physical therapy assistants. The aide will transport patients to and from physical therapy, prepare patients for treatment, and assist therapists as necessary. Requirements: Must have a minimum of two years of direct patient care experience. Minimum certification required would be that of a Certified Nursing Assistant. Previous experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred. Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language. Must be CPR certified. Must be able to understand equipment and pay attention to detail. Must be able to communicate effectively with others. Must be able to work without immediate supervision. Must be able to keyboard at 45 wpm. Must be competent with Microsoft Office applications. Previous experience with order entry and/or patient scheduling software systems preferred. Must be proficient with MMC’s software within 30 days of hire. Prior experience in secretarial/receptionist duties helpful. Completely follows orders professionally and confidentially. Demonstrates high standards of performance, pleasantness and courtesy. Has professional appearance and demeanor. Benefits and Salary: Commensurate with position and experience.
