TAMCO Group is a USA-based manufacturer of electrical and lighting products, including lighting fixtures and controls, lamps, electrical installation products and accessories, motor control and automation, and more. TAMCO is the in-house manufacturer for City Electric Supply.
We’re looking for a results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.
The primary responsibility of a Sales Representative includes increasing sales through the communication of product and industry information to and from City Electric Supply (CES) branches and end-users, providing excellent support to grow and maintain strong relationships with CES District and Regional Managers, while representing the core values and mission statement of TAMCO. This is to be accomplished through field time and weekly reporting.
Responsibilities:
- CES branch calls – Conduct sales calls to each territory branch within the established time frame agreed upon with the Regional Sales Manager; present new products, conduct monthly sales campaigns, maintain stocking lines, conduct joint sales calls with CES staff; work to meet sales activity goals set by Regional Manager.
- Outside sales call – Call on both established customers and make cold calls to contractors and facilities; call on assigned contacts as needed.
- Manage job opportunities – Quote presentation, follow-up, conduct, and document customer and installation visits. Provide customer-approved documentation to the Marketing Department.
- Competition – Monitor and document competitors and trends in the marketplace.
- Reporting – Maintain daily reporting on all activity and results, provide summary report weekly to be reviewed with Regional Sales Manager; maintain monthly reporting on petty cash claims, company vehicle mileage reports, and gas receipts.
- Marketing – Work with the Marketing Department to create opportunities for developing case studies, customer spotlights, and other projects as needed.
- Professional Development – Actively participate in all offered development courses; seek out additional development opportunities within the industry; identify opportunities for self-improvement.
- TAMCO Visits – Assist in arranging and participating in customer visits to TAMCO Port St. Lucie, FL. Document visit details and conduct follow-up in the field.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in the Lighting, Electrical, or Construction industries (preferred)
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Salesforce
- Familiarity with CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Highly motivated and driven
- Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
- Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs
- Relationship management skills
- Availability to travel frequently covering locations ranging from Phoenix/Tucson AZ, LA/San Diego CA, and Las Vegas, NV.

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
