ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Sales Opener plays a pivotal role in our sales team by handling live leads, scheduling callbacks for interested prospects, and making outbound calls to generate new business opportunities. 


WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally, providing personalized assistance to potential customers. Engage with callers to understand their needs, answer questions, and qualify leads based on predetermined criteria. Effectively handle objections and inquiries to guide callers through the sales process.
  • Proactively make outbound calls to targeted leads, following established scripts and guidelines. Initiate conversations with prospects to introduce products/services, qualify leads, and schedule appointments for sales consultations. Utilize persuasive communication techniques to build rapport, overcome objections, and generate interest in our offerings.
  • Schedule callbacks for interested leads, ensuring timely follow-up and nurturing relationships with potential customers. Monitor and prioritize lead queues to ensure efficient distribution of leads to sales agents. Transfer live leads to available sales agents, providing comprehensive lead information and facilitating smooth handoffs.
  • Notate all interactions and updates accurately in the CRM system, maintaining comprehensive records of customer interactions and lead status. Update lead profiles with relevant information, including call outcomes, customer preferences, and follow-up actions. Regularly review and update lead statuses to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of lead pipeline activity.
  • Consistent time and attendance is crucial not only for operational efficiency and team collaboration, but also to meet the high standards of client needs as this is a client facing role. 
  • Maintain open and clear communication channels with sales team members and management, providing regular updates on project progress and challenges.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement within the sales department, focusing on areas such as lead generation, qualification, and conversion.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:

  •  1 years of experience in a sales related role. 
  • Proficient in basic phone skills with excellent verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PAY RANGE: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour Bonus Eligibility 

The above-range represents TaxRise’s current good-faith pay scale for this role. TaxRise reserves the right to modify or update this range at any time.
