What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at The Now AZ?
Reports to: General Manager
This position is meant as a growth position as we open up additional locations.
- Follow all duties and responsibilities as required of the Experience Guide team.
- Be an inspiration and ambassador of professionalism representing The NOW brand.
- Maintain excellent attendance.
- Train all new Experience Guides.
- Be accountable for transactional corrections and follow-up.
- Act in a leadership capacity and assist the Management in all facility needs.
- Act as a liaison between the Experience Guide, Massage Therapist, and Leadership team.
- Communicate all updates, new products/offerings, events, and protocols to the Experience Guide team.
- Ensure the facility is always clean and presentable to standards.
- Assist with group bookings and communicate directly with group inquiries.
- Manage schedules of Experience Guides and time-off requests. Monthly Experience Guide schedule to be distributed by the 15th day of each month for the upcoming month after being approved by the General Manager.
- Create documents, spreadsheets, and protocols as directed.
- Complete weekly retail and back-of-house inventory
- Assist in forecasting staff needs, related to seasons and staff retention.
- Assist in providing coverage of Experience Guide shifts due to illness, etc...
- Assist in conducting interviews for new Experience Guide candidates.
- Participate in boutique supplies, retail, linen, and equipment inventory quarterly to ensure the facility is well prepared and replacement purchases are planned bi-annually.
- Provide orientations and service training to all new Experience Guides.
- Assist, coordinate, or lead all necessary staff training sessions and meetings.
- Share suggestions, voice challenges or any specific concerns to the Leadership Team.
- Assist General Manager with guest complaints and/or concerns.
- Adhere to agreed-upon hours approved by the Leadership Team.
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team during regular meetings regarding any improvements.
- Be a leader in fostering a healthy workplace that is free of bullying, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
