What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chef position at the Ravens Club?
We are looking for a professional chef to prepare food and execute our current menu. With time the chef can create their own menu or make adjustments to the current one. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
Responsibilities
- Will be in charge of sous chef, line cooks and dish staff
- Will be in charge of food ordering and inventory.
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- over site of recipes
Skills
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industry’s best practices
- Culinary school diploma

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
