We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven candidate to lead our Finance Department as the Controller. self
Successful candidates must be -driven, flexible, and professional. They will have fundamental knowledge in a broad array of topics related to corporate finance.
The Controller will:
- Manage the Finance and Accounting activities at the Roxboro site, including budgeting, reporting, auditing, and management of one Assistant Controller.
- Oversee working capital management and capital investments.
- Drive the areas of forecasting, costing, planning, etc., and work with other members of management to use this information to direct the business.
- Develop and perform Ad Hoc reports and use them to analyze production costs vs. sales margins.
- Prepare Roxboro site reports, audits, and act as a partner with Logistics in driving inventory control.
- Coordinate budgeting processes, incorporating operational and strategic forecasting.
- Direct cost accounting and tax reporting.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the area of finance, including cost reduction and funding programs.
- Prioritize multiple projects, maintain confidentiality, and interface with our Israeli corporate headquarters.
- Present reports to the board of directors.
- Support team initiatives and training and development programs as a member of the Roxboro site management team.
- Perform job duties in compliance with site safety rules, with the intent of supporting an injury-free work environment. Assist the plant manager with the implementation of the site safety systems. Notify the plant manager of any safety systems malfunctions or violations.
- Demonstrate leadership and commitment to the site quality management system through personal accountability, systems integration, and risk-based thinking.
- Abide by job related procedures, work instructions, and other guidelines designed to help ensure the quality of the finished product.
The Controller will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment – MUST.
- CPA is required - MUST.
- Familiarity with accounting under US GAAP, IFRS, and cost accounting, and proven skill in working capital management.
- Experience working with domestic and foreign banks. Experience with a foreign company is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines, often working as a member of a cross-functional team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- As the company is Israeli based, bilingual English-Hebrew is highly preferred.
- Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and have familiarity with ERP systems.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
