The Wholesaler maintains and grows DI programs to meet and/or exceed assigned goals. The Wholesaler generates sales revenue to obtain sales quota.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Prospect and profile producers for new and existing insurance sales opportunities
2. Works at improving both product and professional skills by participating and facilitating in training sessions within Crump and through Solution Center efforts
3. Proactive calling to all assigned producers to build business
4. Overall relationship management with producers in assigned territory, ownership of revenue and service of designated accounts
5. Increase strength in relationships with current Crump sales hierarchy
6. Utilize and understand internal resources to capitalize on team results
7. Develop and maintain business plan
8. Work with Sales and Operations management to maintain and improve a specific set of processes for managing priority business
9. Execute and drive an effective lead generation and referral program
10. Set proper expectations with producers
11. Achieve activity bench marks for new applications
12. Create marketing plans and support marketing distribution
13. Create and manage specific marketing programs for Solution Centers
14. Follow-up on New Producer Program, prospective business
15. Increase ability to cross-sell multiple insurance product lines
16. Maintains accurate records of all activities (calls, presentations, sales, etc.) within their assigned producer group, including the use of InsureSocket database to maintain accurate records to maximize marketing and territory potential
17. Attends and participates in sales meetings and training
18. Effectively determine process management of producer requests by utilizing effective time management skills
19. Manage database efficiently
20. Accept inbound sales opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS

16. Four-year college degree in business or a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in the insurance product industry with proven proficiency in product and industry knowledge
2. Insurance licensed for Life and/or Health
3. Involvement in a program for professional designation (FLMI, CLU, ChFC, CFP, CSA) with plans for completion
