Valle Vista Hospital:
Since 1983, Valle Vista Health System, a 132 bed facility located in Greenwood, Indiana, has been providing high-quality behavioral health care to the community. We offer care for a broad range of psychiatric and addiction disorders. We provide care to adults, and to patients as young as age five. Our programs include inpatient, outpatient and medication-assisted treatment for adults, and residential and inpatient treatment for children and adolescents. These programs are designed to help adults, children and teens learn the necessary skills to regain confidence, heal and successfully function at home, work, school and in
their communities.

Responsible for the billing, follow-up, and collection of assigned patient accounts. Works closely with collection agencies for bad debt recovery. Verifies insurance benefits for identified patients, prepares financial summary, meets with patients to discuss financial obligations and make arrangements for payment. Recommends financial adjustments and maintains complex spreadsheets to track activity.
Qualifications
Education/Licensure: High School graduate or equivalent. Continuing education preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience in billing/collections or related field, or any combination of education, training, or experience in a health care business office environment. Experience with insurance billing, computer and business software programs preferred. Advanced skills in spreadsheet applications (Excel) required.
Additional Requirements: May be required to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
