What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Marketing Manager position at Viceroy?
General Responsibilities:
- Monitor hotel property websites, updating pages highlighting local events, packages, and landing pages for various promotions to enhance SEO in collaboration with the property-level revenue management and sales & marketing teams.
- Conduct ongoing audits of booking engine rates and room descriptions to ensure consistency and maximize performance.
- Collaborate with hotels to create monthly programming, partnerships, and promotions calendars with properties' marketing leads.
- Assist in developing and leading the execution of promotion strategies, with the primary objective of driving room and F&B revenue.
- Collaborate with properties' marketing leads and DORMs on annual email marketing calendars and execute campaigns regularly to drive traffic.
- Support hotels leveraging organic and paid media to ensure promotions drive incremental business.
- Assist in the monthly review of marketing hotel calendars and implement regular tracking to evaluate the results of campaigns and initiatives.
- Attend hotel agency (PR, Digital, Social) calls to ensure effective communication of all events, partnerships, and promotional activities to the corporate marketing team.
- Assist with strategies to leverage Viceroy DISCOVERY Loyalty and all appropriate marketing programs.
- Ensure brand consistency across print and digital collateral per property by auditing creative agencies' services.
- Regularly update senior management on developments and ensure that marketing successes are effectively communicated internally.
- Monitor hotel-level performance using available tools, reports, and dashboards, and promptly alert problem areas to the appropriate hotel manager or corporate leaders.
- Provide regular reports as directed by the organization regarding current and future activities.
- Assist with photography, including photoshoot planning as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
- Must be self-directed, motivated and demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent ability to communicate concisely and openly.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, demonstrating the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
- Technologically savvy and computer literate, with working knowledge of CMS, CRM.
- Strong paid media background, fluent in the fundamentals of Search, Paid Meta, and SEO content optimization strategies
- Proactive in job performance, able to anticipate needs before they become necessary.
- Financial acumen is a plus, with demonstrated confidence in preparing site statistics, trends, and forecast analyses.
Qualification Standards:
Education: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is required.
Experience: Three to five years of previous experience in Marketing, Public Relations, focusing on digital marketing. Experience within a luxury hotel environment is preferred.
The expected pay range for this position is $75,000-$90,000 based on relevant skills and experience.
