This role will be based out of a Visa office. Locations are Foster City, CA, Austin, TX, Atlanta, GA, Miami, FL.
The Benefits Analyst will assist with the day to day activities of the US 401(k) and retirement (pension) plans. This role will work closely with the Retirement Team to ensure that Visa’s retirement plans are compliant and administered consistently. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of retirement plan design, administration and compliance.
This individual will collaborate closely with other members of the Benefits team, along with members of Payroll, Legal, and HR Shared Services.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reconciling bi-weekly 401(k) contributions from Payroll to third party recordkeeper
- Working with Payroll to resolve any 401(k) deductions issues
- Supporting annual audits and government filings such as Form 5500s and SAR distribution
- Assisting with the development and content of financial wellness programs
- Drafting communications, education and retirement web content
- Assisting HR Shared Service members with answering employee questions and working with employees directly as needed to resolve outstanding issues.
- Ensuring that all retirement programs and activities comply with related federal and state rules and regulations
- Working on special retirement projects such as researching and reconciling data issues

Basic Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Payroll and/or third party administration background
- Strong attention to details
- Strong analytic and risk analysis skills
- Results oriented, have a high degree of flexibility and effectively deal with ambiguity
- Strong written, verbal, and problem solving skills
- Working with others in a team atmosphere
- Proficient with Word, Excel, experience with ADP and Workday a plus
- Prefer project management skills and/or presentation skills
- Prefer fast-paced working environment
- Advanced knowledge of retirement plans, ERISA law knowledge, and general benefits a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in 401(k) plan management
