Job Description


The Platform Products Development PMO organization provides key business management oversight and integration across the Platform Products Development organization. This includes driving investment planning & budgeting, program/project portfolio management, workforce planning activities, strategic initiative program management, and communications activities. The team is focused on improving efficiencies, transparency, consistency and collaboration within the Platform Products Development organization and other key cross-functional stakeholders.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Program Manager to play a key role in financial forecasting, financial planning, budgeting and month-end reporting. This position interacts with many cross-functional stakeholders, including resource managers, various Technology teams, Finance, and many business function leads. The successful candidate will be comfortable preparing financial results and associated analytics for business partners, resource managers and executives. The position is responsible for monitoring and managing Platform Products Development programs and strategic initiatives, ensure consistent visibility to Platform Products Development resource capacity, build / customize / maintain Portfolio reporting for different levels of Platform Products Development stakeholders and monitoring of activities to ensure conformance and compliance with the schedule and deliverables.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support Workforce Planning by collaborating with Finance, HR & product teams to manage the employee & contingent allocation across different locations

  • Assume the role of single point-of-contact in managing and tracking forecasting and reporting of the technology resources for each program in Clarity and Hyperion

  • Manage Vendor Management relationships by engaging with our offshore vendors and drafting SOW and RFP

  • Support various program activities by working with different cross-functional teams to align with the forecast and ATS spend

  • Extract actionable business insights from the data and build deliverables that clearly communicate the findings and recommendations

  • Proactively communicates resource implications observed from analysis and contribute ideas and solutions to staffing challenges / problems

  • Collect, analyze and report on metrics to demonstrate portfolio’s progress of projects and programs against their planned goals and deliverables.

  • Monitor project and program compliance and work with PMO team members to produce compliance artifacts.

  • Manage the process and workflow for gaining executive approvals for project and program artifacts.

  • Prepare Approval to Spend packages, obtain funding approvals and track funding levels throughout the fiscal year.

  • Ensure proper alignment/feedback loop from TPBO, Product, Finance and Technology Teams to support project intake, vetting and prioritization.

  • Proactively identify and lead opportunities for process improvements and simplification

  • Ad-hoc analysis & projects as needed to support technology and business needs

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, and highly proficient with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and experience in Clarity, Hyperion or similar enterprise reporting and forecasting tools
  • Solid understanding of Forecasting/Budgeting concepts

Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Experience in the Payments and/or Technology industry a plus
  • At least 3 years of relevant business analytics work experience, reporting, and data visualization
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with an attention to detail
  • Strong curiosity to connect the dots and tell the story through the financials
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, ability to resolve tough business problems with well-structured analyses
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities and interest in the rapidly evolving payment industry landscape
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are extremely critical
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels
  • Ability to summarize and communicate key financial information and business strategy at an executive level.
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management with sense of urgency and ability to execute on multiple concurrent deliverables
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
