What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3rd Shift Welder position at Volt?
Volt is partnered with a family run manufacturing company in North East, PA that is in need of a Welder to join their team. This position is on 3rd shift, 11p-7a. The pay rate for this position is between $18-$22/hr. based on experience. This position will also be paid a piecework incentive.
Responsibilities include:
- Must have a basic knowledge of MIG Welding
- Previously worked with Stainless Steel
- Must be familiar with and have an understanding of blueprints and weld symbols
- Be familiar with measuring instruments
- Must be able to maintain quality production standards
- Be responsible for assuring all safety equipment is in place and being properly used
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Some heavy lifting as required
- Other duties as required
