HR Coordinator
Position Purpose:
Join our dynamic and growing team as an HR Coordinator, a role vital to the smooth functioning of our Human Resources team. This position involves executing various administrative tasks and ensuring seamless HR processes. We are seeking an individual with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of HR practices to assist with recruitment, onboarding, HR projects, and much more.
Essential Functions:
- Recruiting Support: Assist in posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates. Additionally, responsible for organizing and participating in career fairs to attract top-talent
- Onboarding: Oversee and manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive experience that aligns with company values and culture
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain and update employee records, complete employment verifications, schedule internal and external meetings, and manage HR inbox
- Other: Completes HR projects as needed, including internal audits and system updates
Required Traits & Characteristics:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Demonstrates discretion and the capability to manage sensitive information with utmost confidentiality
Organizational Relationships:
- Reports directly to HR Business Partner
- Partner on the Human Resources & Business Services Support Team
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
- At least two years of Human Resources experience required
Preferred Education/Experience:
- SHRM-CP certification or other relevant certification preferred
- Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking systems
Travel:
- Position based in South Bend, Indiana
- 40% travel expectations, travel between offices for collaboration with team members and for project meetings required
- Hybrid (remote/in-person) work will be considered
