Role Description
Responsibilities Include:
• Performing system configuration analysis, design, coding, and unit testing for simple to medium complex customer specific solutions.
• Following established processes, standards and procedures designed to minimize service level agreement violations.
• Resolving escalated issues in the appropriate manner and appropriate timeframe, to meet client specific SLAs.
• Analyzing medium to complex customers' business requirements and software/product objectives; performing design, configuration and unit tests.
• Identifying gaps between external expectations and system limitations and suggesting configuration improvements or streamlined maintenance processes and techniques.
• Supporting and maintaining application designs to meet the customer needs.
• Estimating time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully complete activities; developing project plan that incorporates all project variables.
• Providing periodic status checks on all project activities to clients and internal teams, in order to assess progress against project plan. Providing regular and concise status reports to clients and direct manager.
Qualifications Include:
• Bachelor's degree in Health Care Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree
• 3-5 years of experience in a configuration analyst role, configuring health plan or provider software/systems.
• Experience with FACETS and/or NetworX.
• Experience with benefits, claims, and Payer & Provider Agreements, ideally experience doing provider configuration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Experience with query building using SQL, MS Access, and/or other technical analysis tools.
• Testing experience.
• Strong technical and mathematical aptitudes.

• Bachelor's degree
• Min 10 years of experience in Information Technology
