ABOUT THE ROLE
As the full-time Recruiter, you'll source, initiate, and maintain contact with top talent who value collaboration, diverse perspectives, and bringing a positive change to the world. You will report to the Managing Director and Director of Compliance to implement talent acquisition strategies in a start-up environment. You'll be responsible for a full-cycle recruiting, scheduling interviews, and managing communication with new candidates, and sharing what life at Wonder Sciences looks like.
As the first and primary point of contact for all recruiting-related questions or requests, the ideal candidate is passionate about Wonder Sciences’ mission and truly values making meaningful connections.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Fully own recruiting efforts from creating job descriptions, posting to various job boards, sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, scheduling and conducting interviews, and being the liaison between prospective candidates and the internal team
- Create and foster relationships with prospective and current candidates to maintain a strong network of talent
- Collaborate with the Business and Clinical Team to review recruiting efforts and increase efficiency
- Work closely with the Human Resources team to consistently improve onboarding practices
- Be one of the main points of contact for new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding process
- Play a critical role in building and sharing company culture
WHO YOU ARE
- Experienced: You have at least 2 years of experience in the full recruiting cycle including: sourcing, scheduling, interviewing, and managing strong talent from the moment you connect with them to preparing them for their first day.
- Go-getter: You can own and execute projects independently.
- Critical thinker: You are able to identify key weaknesses and initiate effective solutions to constantly improve the recruiting process.
- Savvy: You are able to leverage various recruiting platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, BuiltinLA, and Greenhouse to streamline recruiting efforts.
- Organized: You have the ability to assess priorities and manage several projects at a time.
- People-orientated: You are eager to meet new people and introduce them to the world of Wonder Sciences.
- Passionate: While you don’t need to know everything about the psychedelic industry, you have an innate passion for helping others.
- Communicator: You have excellent written, especially in email, and verbal communication skills.
- Fast learner: You are quick on your feet to adapt to our ever changing industry.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR IF YOU HAVE
- Experience in implementing diversity initiatives related to sourcing and hiring talent
- Experience with university relations and internship programs
- Personal passion for psychedelics/mental health
