RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide cost and general accounting support for on-going, monthly closing process and budgeting.
- Prepares reports for financial position areas of income, expense, and other parts of the operation.
- Prepares budget expense reports, budget and prepares necessary documentation.
- Facilitates developing real time reporting for piece price, tooling, capital, timing and internal resources.
- Responsible for maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Audit, reconcile, and analyze general ledger and financial activity
- Responsible for monthly close and general accounting entries
- Responsible for maintaining pre-paids, fixed asset and depreciation schedules
- Hourly payroll system administration.
- Monthly account reconciliations
- Maintain customer contracts and current purchase orders
- Responsible for implementation, maintenance, and enforcement of HSE Modules and WPS, as assigned.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret and write reports, business correspondence and procedures.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
- Strong computer skills (PC, Spreadsheets, System 36, ADP)
- Good operational accounting, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Financial analysis skills.
