Actuarial Assistant II supports actuarial functions by compiling data, performing calculations, and assisting with the development of actuarial models and reports. Utilizes programming languages to collect, validate, and organize data and create advanced models that support pricing, reserving, and risk management activities. Being an Actuarial Assistant II generates programs, spreadsheets, and preliminary analyses to support rate filings and financial reviews. Assists in documenting methodologies, assumptions, and results for internal and regulatory use. Additionally, Actuarial Assistant II requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager.
