Requirements and Responsibilities

Admissions Evaluator screens and evaluates academic records, prerequisites, and accreditations to determine eligibility and advance qualified applicants for further consideration. Reviews applications for completeness and contacts applicants to source missing information or clarify details. Being an Admissions Evaluator updates and maintains a database to sort, track, and evaluate applications and ensures entries are accurate and complete. Responds to basic inquiries about the admissions process, requirements, or application status. Additionally, Admissions Evaluator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Admissions Evaluator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be an Admissions Evaluator typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
