Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II utilizes advanced or innovative technologies to optimize and improve manufacturing processes for a production facility. Utilizes CAD software and other design and modeling tools to design and develop manufacturing parts or components and communicate specifications to stakeholders. Being an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II researches and evaluates new materials, equipment, or technologies to facilitate complex manufacturing designs and specifications. Analyzes production operations and implements new technologies such as robotics or automation to reduce costs and improve overall efficiency. Additionally, Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II creates and maintains standard documentation for manufacturing products and processes to ensure procedures are well-documented and accessible for future needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
