Architect II is responsible for smaller parts of large, complex architectural projects. Selects, evaluates, and implements architectural procedures and techniques to use to complete projects. Being an Architect II prepares reports and specifications as requested. Requires a bachelor's degree of architecture. Additionally, Architect II typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires a state architect's license. The Architect II gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. To be an Architect II typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
