Associate Dean - Career Development assists the Dean with managing the daily operations of the career development program. Collaborates with the Dean on developing and implementing strategic initiatives to support student and graduate job placement. Being an Associate Dean - Career Development designs various career development programs, workshops, and events to help students with resume writing, interviewing skills, and job searching. Requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean - Career Development typically reports to a dean. The Associate Dean - Career Development typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.
