Implements and tests web services and API's utilizing standard frameworks and source control tools to ensure product functionality, speed, and security. Being a Backend Developer II collaborates with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to deliver server-side applications and integrate user-facing elements. Knows commonly used languages, development tools, and frameworks. Additionally, Backend Developer II requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Backend Developer II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a Backend Developer II typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
