Requirements and Responsibilities
Bank Compliance Assistant assists with implementing and administering the bank's compliance programs. Gathers data and compiles various reports for the compliance department. Being a Bank Compliance Assistant assists with maintaining current and accurate records for documentation of regulatory compliance. Stays current with state and federal banking laws and regulations. Additionally, Bank Compliance Assistant may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Bank Compliance Assistant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
