Banking Operations Senior Supervisor supervises the team responsible for monitoring the daily financial operations of a bank. Analyzes the execution of financial transactions to mitigate risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve process efficiency. Being a Banking Operations Senior Supervisor ensures daily proof, reconciliation, and posting entries are complete and accurate. Researches and resolves any escalated processing issues. Additionally, Banking Operations Senior Supervisor conducts quality audits to verify compliance with operational policies and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Banking Operations Senior Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Banking Operations Senior Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
