Requirements and Responsibilities

Bioinformatics Analysis Manager manages the team responsible for the analysis and interpretation of biological data using computational and statistical methods. Monitors projects that involve large-scale data sets and a variety of bioinformatics tools. Being a Bioinformatics Analysis Manager designs and develops new software applications to solve problems in the field of genomics. Creates and implements quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of collected data. Additionally, Bioinformatics Analysis Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Bioinformatics Analysis Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.
