Requirements and Responsibilities

Biopharma Process Development Scientist II designs and develops processes for the manufacturing of experimental and active drugs. Performs physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of pharmaceutical ingredients to ensure efficiency and safety. Being a Biopharma Process Development Scientist II reviews, troubleshoots, and resolves issues to ensure adherence to formulary specifications. Analyzes, interprets, and communicates results. Additionally, Biopharma Process Development Scientist II may make recommendations for process improvement. Stays current on emerging technologies and trends within the biopharma industry. Requires a bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field. Typically reports to a manager.
