Biopharma Process Engineer V is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing biopharma processes. Conducts process simulations, modeling, and scale-up studies to ensure efficient and cost-effective production. Being a Biopharma Process Engineer V evaluates processes to enhance yield, productivity, and product quality. Troubleshoots process-related issues and provides timely solutions. Additionally, Biopharma Process Engineer V identifies process bottlenecks, performs root cause analysis, and implements corrective actions to improve process performance. Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations and align with industry best practices. Stays current on emerging technologies and trends within the biopharma industry. Requires a bachelor's degree in biological/chemical engineering or a related field. Typically reports to a manager. The Biopharma Process Engineer V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization.
