Requirements and Responsibilities

Branch Sales Manager - Licensed manages and oversees the branch's sales efforts. Identifies, implements, and manages sales strategies to increase branch revenue through new business acquisition and client retention. Being a Branch Sales Manager - Licensed builds and maintains customer relationships, including cross-selling products and supporting customer retention. Maintains detailed knowledge of the current financial product offerings. Additionally, Branch Sales Manager - Licensed identifies gaps in financial service or product offerings and makes recommendations for improvement. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires passing the FINRA SIE, either the Series 7 or Series 6 as well as the Series 63, Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examinations, and obtaining the applicable state-level license to sell securities. Typically reports to a director. The Branch Sales Manager - Licensed manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Branch Sales Manager - Licensed typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
