Requirements and Responsibilities
Business Intelligence Architecture Supervisor supervises and supports the structural design and development of enterprise-wide business intelligence tools, systems, and applications. Implements policies, standards, and frameworks for the form, structure, and attributes of the business intelligence tools and systems. Being a Business Intelligence Architecture Supervisor evaluates data flows and structures to determine optimal business intelligence tools, ensuring adaptability to existing systems and scalability for future needs. Oversees and maintains architectural design documentation to guide future maintenance and development. Additionally, Business Intelligence Architecture Supervisor monitors, evaluates, and improves data collection, storage, and retrieval methods to ensure performance, security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Business Intelligence Architecture Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Intelligence Architecture Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
