Requirements and Responsibilities

Card Services Manager manages an organization's credit and debit card programs. Monitors application processing and cardholder inquiries and requests to identify process and product improvements. Being a Card Services Manager ensures customer inquiries regarding statements, billing disputes, and application status are handled timely and accurately. Supports promotion and advertising efforts to increase customer awareness, satisfaction, and participation. Additionally, Card Services Manager ensures card operations comply with internal procedures and government regulatory requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Card Services Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Card Services Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
