Responsible for driving category growth within the categories assigned, optimizing product assortment, ensuring competitive pricing, and creating marketing initiatives to promote category sales and customer engagement. Being a Category Management Analyst V analyzes and assesses category/brand performance to develop enhanced marketing and sales plans and promotions. Conducts market-specific assessments of competitors, vendors, and customers to support decisions and influence management. Additionally, Category Management Analyst V monitors competitor pricing and adjusts strategies accordingly. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Category Management Analyst V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms.
