Requirements and Responsibilities

Clinical Research Project Management Supervisor supervises a team of clinical research project managers. Implements established clinical research guidelines and procedures. Being a Clinical Research Project Management Supervisor reviews project plans and timelines. Ensures projects are timely, accurate, and produce precise results. Additionally, Clinical Research Project Management Supervisor assists in identifying potential risks/issues and provides recommendations. Monitors all projects progress against performance indicators and key deliverables. Ensures the project is planned and conducted in accordance with all applicable regulations, standard operating procedures, and good clinical practices (GCP). Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Clinical Research Project Management Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Clinical Research Project Management Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
