Requirements and Responsibilities

Configuration Analyst V is responsible for analyzing product design changes to determine the effect on the end-product design and function. Completes necessary documentation to reflect the change. Being a Configuration Analyst V coordinates with customers and manufacturers to determine a process for change reporting. Reviews released engineering change data to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies. Additionally, Configuration Analyst V typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Configuration Analyst V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. To be a Configuration Analyst V typically requires 10+ years of related experience.
