Requirements and Responsibilities
Demand Analyst V develops demand forecasts to support operational planning, inventory management, and business decision-making. Analyzes inventory levels, sales data, production metrics, and product demand trends to determine the amount of finished product to be produced. Being a Demand Analyst V identifies, evaluates, and determines the best metrics to provide accurate and responsive forecasting models and tools. Collaborates with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to incorporate promotional activity, seasonality, and market intelligence into forecasts. Additionally, Demand Analyst V monitors forecast performance and forecast bias to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions. Prepares forecast reports and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Demand Analyst V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. To be a Demand Analyst V typically requires 10+ years of related experience.
