Electrical Maintenance Supervisor supervises electrical maintenance service and repairs of equipment and fixtures such as motors, lighting, and transformers. Applies best practice procedures utilized in electrical maintenance. Being an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor supervises staff of electrical maintenance workers. Ensures all safety and compliance regulations are met. Additionally, Electrical Maintenance Supervisor has good knowledge of National Electrical Code and other applicable standards and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Typically requires Electrician license. The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. To be an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
