Requirements and Responsibilities
Enrollment & Billing Director directs and oversees the team responsible for processing and maintaining accurate enrollment and/or billing information for an insurance organization. Monitors and confirms information is entered accurately and high customer satisfaction is maintained. Being an Enrollment & Billing Director establishes, implements, and ensures compliance with operational policies. Offers guidance on appropriate handling of complex or high-value accounts. Additionally, Enrollment & Billing Director ensures compliance with all legal regulations, industry standards, and operational guidelines. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Enrollment & Billing Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Enrollment & Billing Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
