Enrollment & Billing Manager manages the team responsible for processing and maintaining accurate enrollment and/or billing information for an insurance organization. Ensures that information is processed accurately and appropriately. Being an Enrollment & Billing Manager responds to questions from members, verifies eligibility, assists with enrollment, and updates records. Handles more complex enrollment or billing issues. Additionally, Enrollment & Billing Manager ensures compliance with all legal regulations, industry standards, and operational guidelines. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Enrollment & Billing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Enrollment & Billing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.
