Environmental Engineering Senior Supervisor supervises a team of engineers responsible for providing solutions to environmental issues. Oversees environmental experiments, reviews report findings, and recommends corrective actions. Being an Environmental Engineering Senior Supervisor monitors project deliverables, timelines, and milestones to increase efficiency. Ensures policies, practices, and procedures are followed by the team. Additionally, Environmental Engineering Senior Supervisor monitors the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local environmental legislation. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline. Typically reports to a manager. The Environmental Engineering Senior Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Environmental Engineering Senior Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
