ESG Program Manager leads the daily execution of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) programs and operational activities. Manages a team to implement sustainability and ethical initiatives in alignment with corporate strategy. Being an ESG Program Manager oversees data collection and reporting, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to industry standards. Partners with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to support responsible business practices. Additionally, ESG Program Manager monitors performance metrics, identifies process improvements, and drives execution of ESG projects and employee engagement campaigns. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The ESG Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an ESG Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
