Requirements and Responsibilities

Executive Recruiter screens, interviews, and recommends prospective employees for employment in executive or senior management positions. Works with executive search firms or other placement agencies to develop and maintain a highly qualified candidate pool. Being an Executive Recruiter develops employment offers with competitive compensation, benefits, and relocation terms to present to candidates. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Executive Recruiter typically reports to top management. May require SHRM certification. The Executive Recruiter gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. To be an Executive Recruiter typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
