Requirements and Responsibilities
Finance Senior Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of finance operations and professionals. Oversees the collection and analysis of financial information for an organization. Being a Finance Senior Supervisor monitors the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. Reviews and interprets financial data to advise and support strategic decision-making and achieve business objectives. Additionally, Finance Senior Supervisor ensures all financial reporting, operations, and transactions maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory financial policies, standards, and controls. Implements financial modeling and analytical tools to measure and forecast the impact of various economic scenarios, risks, and business changes. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Finance Senior Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Finance Senior Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
