Requirements and Responsibilities
Frontend Development Senior Manager leads a frontend development team while actively contributing code to day-to-day development. Translates product and design requirements into technical tasks and ensures features are delivered on time and to quality standards. Being a Frontend Development Senior Manager reviews code, enforces frontend best practices, and troubleshoots complex UI or performance issues. Coordinates closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to align priorities. Additionally, Frontend Development Senior Manager has knowledge of commonly used languages and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and Bootstrap. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Frontend Development Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Frontend Development Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.
