Requirements and Responsibilities
Housing Program Manager oversees operations of a housing program. Sets budget and policies, hires and trains staff, and oversees occupancy eligibility/operations. Being a Housing Program Manager develops and provides reports or documentation needed to secure/maintain funding or grants. May lead the work of others. Additionally, Housing Program Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Housing Program Manager contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. To be a Housing Program Manager typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience.
