Requirements and Responsibilities

Industrial Designer III develops industrial design specifications to optimize the product function and value. Analyzes the intended use of products and user preferences to carry out a complete detail and layout drawings. Being an Industrial Designer III ensures final designs meet marketing requirements, quality and cost goals, product specifications, and manufacturability standards. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Industrial Designer III typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Industrial Designer III work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. To be an Industrial Designer III typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience.
