Requirements and Responsibilities

Information Technology Auditor II audits information systems, platforms, and operating procedures in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy and security. Evaluates IT infrastructure in terms of risk to the organization and establishes controls to mitigate loss. Being an Information Technology Auditor II determines and recommends improvements in current risk management controls and implementation of system changes or upgrades. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Information Technology Auditor II typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Information Technology Auditor II gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. To be an Information Technology Auditor II typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
