Interior Designer IV develops plans and designs for the interior of residential, commercial, or industrial buildings based on the needs of the client. Creates functional and aesthetic designs that help boost productivity, increase sales, attract customers, or enhance a living space. Being an Interior Designer IV is responsible for planning the use and layout of the space and decorating with color, furniture, fixtures, etc. Develops drawings, presentations, and cost estimates and coordinates the work of contractors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Interior Designer IV typically reports to a manager or head of unit/department. The Interior Designer IV work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. To be an Interior Designer IV typically requires 7+ years of related experience.
