IT Consulting Supervisor supervises a team of IT consultants responsible for providing advice and services to clients. Monitors the assessment and analysis of clients' IT systems, infrastructure, and/or processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, or areas for improvement. Being an IT Consulting Supervisor provides strategic guidance on selecting, implementing, and integrating technologies such as software, hardware, networks, and cybersecurity solutions. Maintains strong client relationships through ongoing support and process improvement. Additionally, IT Consulting Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The IT Consulting Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an IT Consulting Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
