IT Strategy Consultant V is responsible for providing IT strategy guidance and services to clients. Assists clients in aligning technology initiatives with overall business objectives, ensuring IT investments effectively support strategic goals and drive innovation. Being an IT Strategy Consultant V analyzes the client's operations and current technology architecture to identify options for new technologies that will optimize the company's functions and business processes. Guides the client in an assessment process to define the organization's needs and evaluate solution options that meet business requirements. Additionally, IT Strategy Consultant V provides consultation regarding solutions planning, impact analysis, risk assessment, and budgeting. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The IT Strategy Consultant V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. To be an IT Strategy Consultant V typically requires 10+ years of related experience.
